Talking about my poem! What was my thought process behind this poem? Why did I have a thought process behind this poem?
On Tuesday, January 2nd of this year, I wrote a poem called "Focusing on yourself" and here how it goes: "Focusing on yourself" by: Brandee Marie Darden!
"Focusing on yourself
isn't a selfish thing
at all! When you need
to focus on yourself,
you are focusing on
what you need in life!
Don't let anyone tell
you that focusing on
yourself is selfish because
focusing on yourself
is not selfish! You are
doing something that
is good for your
mental health! Focusing
on yourself is okay!
Focus on your mental
health"!
Written on Tuesday, 1/2/24! What was my thought process behind this poem? I think my thought process behind this poem is I wanted people to know that it is okay to focus on yourself and not have to feel a certain way about it! People might think "focusing on yourself is selfish" but in reality, it's not selfish at all! I rather focus on what's going with me than listening to someone say "You're being selfish right now". Why did I have a thought process behind this poem? The reason why I thought process behind this poem is because people might think it is wrong to focus on yourself when it is not wrong at all! I rather focus on what's wrong with me than focus on other people! Yes, it is okay to help people out every once in a while but sometimes, you need to focus on yourself as well and your mental health is important! Focus on what's important!
This poem all about!
What is this poem all about? This poem is all about focusing on yourself! When you are struggling with mental health, all you want to do is to focus on yourself and wants what is best for you! When people say "Focusing on yourself is not important", in my eyes, when you are dealing with any problems, not just mental health, you want to focus on yourself! Life can be so stressful at times and when you deal with a long day at work or just a long day, you just want a day to yourself and that's not bad at all but people might say "you're being selfish". It's okay to take a day to yourself and focus on you for a little bit! There is nothing wrong with being selfish and it's okay to focus on yourself! Focus on what's important!
Why?
Why did I write this poem all about? The reason why I wrote this poem all about is because when you focus on yourself, you want to make yourself feel better and not depressed! You want people to know that you are doing okay without them worrying about you! Focusing on you isn't a bad thing at all but people tend to make it out to be! I rather focus on what's important for my well being than listen to someone who says "you're being selfish". Focusing on your well being and getting better within yourself is much important and I feel like people are just being rude when they are saying that! It is important to focus on your well being than focusing on someone else's well being! Don't listen to others!!
The importance on focusing on yourself?
What is the importance of focusing on yourself? I think the importance of focusing on yourself is to make yourself happy and have that self discovery within yourself! I rather focus on what's important for my life than let someone drag me down for saying "it's not important to focus on yourself". To me, finding out what's going and trying to figure out a way to make yourself happy is extremely important! Before you could make others happy, you need to find a way to make yourself happy and having that me time is extremely important! Focusing on what's going good for your life is much better than not focusing on what's not good! Focusing on what's good for you is much better than focusing on the bad! Focus on what's good for you and make yourself happy!!
Why?
Why is there importance on focusing on yourself? I think there is importance on focusing on yourself because you want to focus on what's important for your life and what's good with your life! When you focus on what's good. your mood starts to change, your positive outlook on life starts to change and you focusing on the positive stuff is much better than focusing on the negative stuff! Don't let the negative stuff or negative people around you change you or don't let them tell you that "you're selfish" because you are not being selfish and you are doing what's right for you!! Focus on what's good for you!!
My advice!
If I had to give any advice to my Blogger Dreamers who are having trouble focusing on themselves, what is my advice? If I have to give any advice to my Blogger Dreamers who are having trouble focusing on themselves, my advice is instead of focusing on what's going on around you with other people, focus on what's good for you! Focus on what's going on inside your mind and try to make yourself happy! Making yourself happy is the most important thing and have that importance to know that you need to make yourself happy is very important! Make yourself happy before you make someone else happy! Don't focus on what's going on around you, instead focus on what's going on inside you that way you can fix what's going on inside you! Don't listen to others!!
Why?
Why would I give that advice to my Blogger Dreamers? The reason why I would give that advice to my Blogger Dreamers is because when you focus on the negative stuff, it tends to bring you down but when you focus on the positive stuff, you feel much better and you are not worried about the other things in life! Focus on what's good for you instead of the negative stuff! Put your mind at ease and focus on what's good and not what's bad! I rather focus on what's good for my mental health than what's bad for my mental health!! Focus on the good stuff instead of the bad stuff!!
In closing/ Tip of the day!
In closing, focusing on yourself isn't a bad thing at all! Instead of focusing on what's bad for your mental health, focus on what's good for your mental health! Don't let one negative bad comment hurt you because someone thinks focusing on you is such a bad thing! Focusing on you isn't a bad thing at all! You need to focus on you make yourself happy! Your happiness is what that counts for you! You need to do whatever it takes to make sure that you're doing okay! You need to worry about what's going with you instead of focusing on what's going on with others! Don't let others dictate how you are feeling! You have your own feelings and feel how you want to feel! Here is today's tip of the day! For today's tip of the day, it is focus on yourself isn't a bad thing! Focusing on yourself is okay because you are focusing what's good for you and what's good your mental health! Focus on what makes you feel amazing and wonderful! I love y'all from the bottom of my heart!!
